Sylvi Sylva

***Eye Candy

My eyes green, smirky laugh, sated empty heart
You - enchanting, my eye candy, a soft glow
As you sleep, drawn, I trace god's work of art
My beloved ass, if you didnt know
Good for riding, ah but an empty space
Great for looking, oh but a vacant stare
Thats all you are, in more ways than a phase
Overwhelmed, I am, by night and seared by day
Oh God, you look good, for yet another grope.

A brilliant piece, Sylvi, with just enough detail to let us know what's going on. Some great comments below this one, too.

Great poem. It reminds me of this.

    In the desert

    In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
    Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
    And ate of it.
I said: 'Is it good, friend? '
    'It is bitter-bitter, ' he answered;
    'But I like it
    Because it is bitter,
And because it is my heart.'
