Fairies and Apple Trees
I can't help but wonder
Is this real;
Or a figment of my imagination?
As I ponder, and my mind continues to wander
Reality and elaborate fantasy merge seamlessly
But maybe it's not so horrendous
That I sugarcoat and cover the nightmares that hover
If happy endings are just in my head
I'd rather pretend
