Flowers

flowers are so beautiful
delightful
colourful
I just can’t stop admiring them
at times they appear to me as gems
What if there were showers of colourful flowers
different colours for the lovers
Rainbow flowers: violet, indigo, blue and green, yellow, orange, red
on my bed
butterflies come and sit on it
and suck the nectar bit by bit
So these are my thoughts of the flowers
which fall in my dreams like spring showers

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
