Heart

What happened to our hearts today
because today is not okay

People are scared to open their hearts
but we have all this wisdom and smarts.
ones passage of thoughts
can be broken and shot

Doesnt seem people care
when people are falling through
but when will the people be
when you are falling too

hope to god you have a parachute
and everything be okay
because today is a lonely field
leaving in dismay

one can look for acceptence outside the field
but where will you be
if you arent behind your shield

If happiness was golden
would love be clear
because sometimes
people just dont tear

what are people looking for
in this days of days
because some people are just waiting
waiting to be saved

people die today
you hear the sirens each day
but how do you want to remembered
when your light is dimming gray

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
