I Know Why - Poem by Ursula De La Mer
In the golden light
Of unurtured winter
We'll walk home
Leaves beneath, canvas soles.
And our hands tucked away
The sun, in a clear winter
Is forgiving, but still
We're frozen soon, in our youth
To be awakened
By summer's kiss.
