Plague Rose
Just Like You
There she goes
In the rain
All alone
The sweater she wears
Is thin
The wind is getting colder
She is not crying
She is not sad
Only empty
Simple as that
Walking past
The gates and trees
Of little forest
And stopping at
The plastic shed
Of a stranger's possession
She wonders
If there is something inside
The large plastic box
And thinks about a dog
A shepherd perhaps
Sitting comfortably
Out of the rain
But this girl
It does not matter
Her name
She is empty
Not sad
Not angry
She has run away
And now must go back
For she is getting cold
And no matter how brave
She appears to be
How lifeless, boring
And apathetic
She runs home
When thunder strikes
She is scared
Though her expression
May fool you
She is human
Just like you
