Just One More Addiction

Just One More Addiction
as I pull up my sleeve
stick the needle in
right before you leave

Just One More Addiction
is the passion of pain
even as my head hits the wall
I'm not ever afraid

Just One More Addiction
is the cut of my blade
feeling the blood drain
My thoughts begin to fade

Just One More Addiction
In the mirror I see fat
I'll puke up my dinner
that's just a fact

Just One More Addiction
Come smoke a little weed
crack open some beers
you'll soon need to feed

Just One More Addiction
your gambling for money
you can't pay your debts
til you steal from your honey

Just One More Addiction
Too much sex with the whores
you could end up with aids
or shot dead on the floor

Just One More Addiction
I'll smoke a little crack
we'll do it in the backseat
while your lying on your back

Just One More Addiction
this makes me so high
give me some more acid
so on a trip I can fly

Just One More Addiction
some benzos and whiskey
don't deny your an addict
and like to get frisky

Just One More Addiction
this one is my muse
all the poetry I write here
has seemed to amuse

Just One More Addiction
and then you'll be dead
let me shoot that gun
at your freakin' head

EVEN such is Time, that takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
And pays us but with earth and dust;
