Life Like A Rose

Our life is like a rose
Every couple of years a petal falls
The older you get the more vague it gets
When the rose is weeping and the petals have all departed
That's when i wonder,
When
Will i be back again.

    Yeah, nicely observed… there are people who are saying that their life is like a rose, but honestly speaking all of us is just the same… living a life like a rose. Life on its positive outlook in general is beautiful and colourful. Like the rose life has thorns of struggles’ to remain rooted on each and every person’s purpose in life… and as you’ve said, every couple of years the petal falls… for each day a person gets old. At age, no beauty remains, all fades like the roses do. (Report) Reply

poet Henry Lawson

The old year went, and the new returned, in the withering weeks of drought,
The cheque was spent that the shearer earned,
and the sheds were all cut out;
