Man Is Not The Greatest - Poem by Billy Sienes

The proudest among us
are nothing to the lightning.
The most beautiful among us
are nothing to the whirlwind.
The richest among us
are nothing to the tidal wave.
The strongest among us
are nothing to the landslide.
The fiercest among us
are nothing to the earthquake.
The wisest among us
are nothing to the waiting worms,
the dust and the grave.

Provocative and strong, well-chosen words and reflective message.10+++++ (Report) Reply
