Melancholy - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

Stranded
In a sea mist
Walking towards a sea cliff
You only need a bout of thunder
To change your course
To reorient towards
The flickering cauldron
Of a serendipitous firefly

Well written. Melancholy is a state that needs divine intervention ('bout of thunder) . Thanks for sharing (Report) Reply
