My Imagination

My heart is heavy
Heavy for thoughts
Thoughts that keep me awake
Awake because I seek knowledge
Knowledge of the good and the evil
Evil, so I can avoid
Avoid in to do good
Good that relieves my burden
Burden that makes my heart heavy
Thus heavy for thoughts

Poem of the Day

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
