My Kind Of Woman - Poem by Masharia kanyari

A young woman without pride,
In my world is unthinkable,
No woman who lacks pride,
Can play such a role as being mine,
Thus I consider this quality,
The first prerequisite,
Of any woman I end up with,

How much of this quality remains,
by the time she attains this rank,
After sex and allowing me in her life,
Have affected and modified,
This pride of hers,
Is my primary source of fascination,

And the longer the extent she retains it,
The better she does at convincing me,
That I need her expertise in my life team,
That is in pursuit of the proverbial and elusive perfection.
