My Last Breath

Wrapped up in the silence of my grief,
I tied myself with a ribbon of secrets,
Close my eyes and let myself drift away,
A gift for the forgotten souls,
Let a new world welcome me,
Pray for my peace and serenity,
Just keep me in your immortal fantasy,
One day, you will see...

I’m saving my last breath,
Waiting for you, my eternal love,
Come back and lift this broken heart of mine,
To your heavenly dreams, to your bright mind,
Lest my soul will be forbidden,
To enter your realm of happiness,
And my spirit will be engulfed forever,
In your sparkly tears, your deadly fears...

Meet me in the other side,
For I cannot hold on much longer,
This breath is fading into the quiet night,
I do not have any strength left to fight,
As my skin turns cold and white,
And my lips are smooth icy cottons,
Watch my tortured soul takes flight,
To another place I hope is filled with light...

Mimi, beautiful lines: - 'Watch my tortured soul takes flight, to another place I hope is filled with light.' They make one feel the hurt within the poetry, real poetry written by both a lovely caring soul and I feel a great writer, Thank you Warm regards Bob Blackwell
