My Song

There is a song I have always wanted to sing
A song that has never been sung or heard by any living soul
A song that has always been the motive for my existence
A song that every word in its lyrics brings life and spells evolution
That song the blind can see and the deaf can hear
That song the dumb can sing because in its lyrics is hope and faith in humanity
This song I am yet to sing because the frivolous crowd of the world is making my voice faint
Every time I try to sing I seem to lose my voice to the wickedness in this world of woes
Though the world seem to be getting the better part of me
I know one day I will find my voice and sing with a loud voice to the world
A song that will remain for generations over time and time to come
A song that will leave marks of my deeds on this planet
A song that beasts and trees will sway to its symphonic rhythm
A song that the coming generation will listen to and wish they were born in the 21st century
A song that will echo over mountains, valleys, hills and plains
That song that I alone know the lyrics because the manuscript is in the chambers of my mind
That song that will have my initials as its writer and composer
Upon constant singing it becomes a timeless melody to the heart of man
Let every one that believe in a better tomorrow for humanity
Come and let's sing this song of mine together
It is such a masterpiece of music with lyrical depth

poet Li Po

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting
my cup I asked the moon
to drink with me, its reflection
and mine in the wine cup, just
