No Love I Have

Dearest God, I am so alone
Have no friend in this world
As life seems so difficult to be.
I am so lonely to be
Have no love and no life
I am so alone dearest god.
No love I have and no love I can feel
Alone, in this world I am
So incomplete I remain as
With no love and no life.
The things I express make no sense
Since, nobody actually cares about me
God, dearest god, so alone I have turned to be
I see no hope and only misery I feel
Love, no love I have.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Nobody feels my pain. How can I love myself when nobody loves me? What is life when only misery is felt in it? God, dearest god so alone I have turned to be.

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
