On Reluctance To Use This Gift

  You see me with such potential
You say, 'You have such a gift! '
But, oh, how I long it wasn't mine!
Please, let me ignore this one!
'Ignore it and it will be wasted! '
I don't want this responsibility.
Not to mention the fear that comes with it
A surprise around every corner
I don't think I can handle this insanity
But I don't want to disappoint you
Acceptance on my own will come eventually
You'll see my reluctance fade
Be patient, you will get your way soon enough
