Pain

Frustration runs through the blood steam
and nothing is as it seems
I rock back and forth as I blot out the stains
that was left on my heart from the burning pain
I don't know what to do besides walk in the rain
the stains on my heart was left by the pain
Life and death
Life and death
Life and death
Those are the only 2 choices
Life and death
Life and death
Life and death
I wish I could run
Run from everything, choices, people, work, pain
but instead, I'm left walking in the rain
I tilt my head back and let the drops wash over me
it washes over my heart, extinguishing the flame
but it will never take away the pain
so still, i will continue to walk in the rain.
