Don Suraweera

Pornography - Poem by Don Suraweera

Dazzling white skin
Carved in alabaster
On a goddess in her birth stitch
A daughter of Eve in a studio called Eden
Immortalized in a 35 mm reel
A smooth operator
In a sequence of thespian theatrics
Breeding new tricks to an age old tradition
A starlet in supreme control
Of a million lusting eyes
Inebriated with tides of desire
Sprinkled with raindrops of moisture
The golden canon of corporeal love
Perpetuated in time
To bequeath on the isle of man
A time-tested elixir
For excruciating loneliness
