Heart Ache

rain

The story of my life
spreading love throughout
like heavy precipitation
but people keep me out
heavily guarded, doors locked, windows closed

I struggle to make freinship flowers grow
no deep roots to hang on to
when the wind blows the flowers go too
when seeds are planted
heavy rain is the forecast

Some of tese flowers are damaged
or only bloom shortly
weeds choke these flowers
anger is most common
but in due time all flowers will grow

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
