Royalty at 15

By: Andrea Corral

The celebration of a girl going from a rose bud to a full and mesmerizing rose.
now that I have the values my parents instilled in me growing up
its time to put them in use.
As days passed to what seemed as minute by minute the day arrived.
Finally
the day has come
the day is here
the day that i will treasure for eternity
my hair was pulled and tossed
my nails were done and perfectly glossed
and my face was like a porcelain doll
but the last touch was crucial
the dress,
Oh how it flowed so smooth and glistened so bright
It fit like a glove not too tight.
The crown was placed perfectly in the center of my head
and i had become the definition of royalty.
