~Stop It~

Sitting in a dark basement
smoking life away
everything smells like an ash tray
girls come girls go
heh they're called hoes
getting dumber by the day

Sitting in a dark basement
drinking life away
never gonna see a better day
partyin' now and then
what ever happened to school
man this ain't kool

You're a drinker and a smoker
kid you ain't never gonna prosper
true life is now an acid
but don't you remember all that you did
darlin' your wastin away
and of course you ain't got nuthin to say

jeez just stop it! !

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Your hands lie open in the long fresh grass, --
The finger-points look through like rosy blooms:
Your eyes smile peace. The pasture gleams and glooms
