the burning


Burning my skin,
pearl upon pearl
gliding my breasts between,
eyelids of metallic stare
enwombed within me
a longing forbid.
Exhausted in an instant's
ache, I wanted (to be)
her - in and with -
A glimpse so strange
and unaware.
