The Only One I Love Is You

to start off baby, you are my world
without you, I'm just not me
I hate being away from you
when right next to you is where I wanna be

I wanna hold you in my arms
and see the smile on your face
I wanna kiss your soft lips
and pull you closer by the waist

I wanna hear you say you love me
and feel your fingertips on my skin
I wanna forget about all the arguments
and go back to how it used to be then

baby, please just trust me
and believe every word I say
I'm not going anywhere
I promise I'm here to stay

I really, truly love you
you are my heart and soul
without you I'd be nothing
you're the half that makes me whole

I don't wanna fall apart
I wanna make this last
you're all I want in my future
**** all that was in my past

I need you more than ever before
I swear I'm being true
baby, please just believe me when I say
the only one I love is you

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
