The Silk Rose - Poem by Christopher Cariad
I look into your eyes
And see the beating of your heart.
You're the one I knew right from the start.
Your perfection underlines my lack there of.
Your lips a silk rose touching my skin
And your hands, a navigator,
Guiding your way into my heart.
I love you so much but have yet to know
If you as well love me so.
