The World as just a Thought

Sometimes
I think.
There’s a nightmare
that resides up there,
blood raining from these
mental walls.
Creatures hiding in the dark,
feeding upon the memories
of days past.
The mental war is raging
between these creatures of good and dark.
Only this blood will last,
washing away
ALL that is of the past.

This world is just a thought.

We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
