Unattainable - Poem by Emanuel Jones

All I can do is dream....
Of a paradise where there's just you and me,
No him or her,
Revealing my feelings would mean,
Going head to head with my insecurities so this is what I prefer,
To live in this delusional fairytail,
Where you are my queen and our LOVE is so keen,
A place where we only use our third eye to see,
Because your physique isn't what really attracts me,
But see this thought of heaven has entrapped me,
In a tourmented room with no windows,
But my confidence won't allow me to open the door,
In fear of what may be in store,
So I silence my heart while my mind prevails,
Telling my self she'll never fall for a guy thats been to jail,
Meanwhile my soul protest that,
My honesty and charm will help her see past that,
Because I'm way more than what your eyes can see,
An earful of complexed simplicity,
I try not to listen to fate but she speaks so vigorously,
When she blatantly made her point clear,
That my Cinderella will never feel my joy nor hear my tears,
So I hold on to the hope of the after life,
Wishing I was reborn as a butterfly and she's just a caterpillar,
And I'll wait for her to make her realize I'm not just your average nigga,
So untill the day we die and meet again,
I'll kiss you in my dreams while you sleep...with him.
