زندگي خواب ِ پريشاں ہے، کوئي کيا جانے


زندگي خواب ِ پريشاں ہے، کوئي کيا جانے
موت کي لرزش ِ مژگاں ہے، کوئي کيا جانے

رامش و رنگ کے ايوان ميں ليلائے حيات
صرف اک رات کي مہماں ہے کوئي کيا جانے

گلشن ِ زيست کے ہر پھول کي رنگيني ميں
دجلہ ِ خون ِ رگ ِ جاں ہے کوئي کيا جانے

رنگ و آہنگ سے بجتي ہوئي يادوں کي برات
رہرو ِ جادہ ِ نسياں ہے کوئي کيا جانے
