Rachel A Robinson Poems

A child of innocence, still she doesn't truely know
The hand that will haunt her, as she grows
Too young to understand,
the pain that comes from just one hand.

Try for me, try for me
I promise, I swear,
If you just try for me I will not leave you there!
I will not leave you where you will wilt

Life's Living Monsters, Darkening Our Chidren's Brain, Causing A Mothers Pain....

A child of innocence, still she doesn't truely know
The hand that will haunt her, as she grows
Too young to understand,
the pain that comes from just one hand.
A face that will echo, wherever she goes,
The memory of that face of foe.

I can't erase his face from my mind,
Nor the people that stand by his side,
I cannot contemplate a brain that instincts a smile,
from someone that has done something so vile.

God please let me understand,
Make sense of it and understand,
How all of my powers of protection lay bland,
and you could let this happen! ! !

How could any spirit or being,
cloud my vision and let this happen? ? ! ! ! !
Religion is just a fairytale,
This wrong that wipes my daughters smile.

Taken it so bad? ! !
Word from people that do not understand,
The heart of a human, the innocence of a child,
Sends my soul searching in the wild,
like a lion at the scent of pray,
Yet even the lion gets to have his say,
tear the pray from limb to limb
While wild birds continue to sing,
Nature fights, and claws and bites,

Ripping flesh, open and spare,
Not even needing all that's there,
but that's the circle... and so it's fair? ? ?
