An aspiring author, wading through a bleak, musty B.Tech programmme, with a dream as the candle)
The Thin Moutain Stream
Slithering through whistling reeds
The whistle of your passage rings sweeter
Down And about, with jumping trout
Is your plaintive, peaceful waters
Oh simple enchanted stream
From where you hail I wonder
As a burst from Heavens' silent door
Or from a dark, cold rock's under
Many a soul, some not so whole
Finds solace at your banks
Thee heals the wounds, of a soldier who swoons
Having fallen from his ranks
You gurgle along
Saying many a song
Splashing green at the dead around you
On nature's face, and with such grace
A smile your tail has drew
Shall I never know, thy dreamy story
Of selflessness, n eternal glory
Thy mystique and wizardry
Shall baffle this bird
As a straight, dark road
Cheats a heavy drunkard
Oh simple, enchanted stream
Where do you go I wonder
Awn n awn, to unknown new dawn,
Forever yonder, yonder
