Silent

Silent
My heart hurts and I don't know why
So I sit quietly and cry.
Easier then trying to explain why I feel this way.
Perhaps I morn what won't be,
or someone said the wrong thing today.
I am strong, I stand like an oak.
I will not break or give in.
Tears I hold in till I choke.
Silent, I am silent.
Holding in all I could say.
And each tear I shed today,
is to release this pain.
