Friends To Lovers

Sometimes I wonder how much did I mean to you,
I think why I was drawn to you,
could it have been your choice of words,
that intellect and enticing eyes, that would block me from all the lies.
You came to me, saying we could enjoy each other company
But the feelings ended lonely
So i wonder
We have been friends for many years

But if you were my friend you wouldn't disappear
I have to admit my share cause I knew someone would get hurt
We were cool but the chemistry got the best of us
so we said just once
we loved it and feelings got involved
I told you not to fall in love
but look at me full of despai
as i'm trying to let go of  a feeling of  love that was rare
