We brush past each other in the darkness.
Electric is the moment.
Heat lightning, sparks flying,
whispers through the air.

did I waste too much time,
with such silly rhymes,
instead of just saying -

Softness was lost,
until it found your sweet soul.

Stars found their mirror,

A chance desire to meet,
left me begging at your feet.
A triumph of the mind,
if not defeat.

Cryptic little deceptions,
logged within my mind.
Moonlight in your eyes,
Walk always beneath clear skies.

Less than perfect.
Less than true.
Less than never,
will be without you
...

What are you thinking about?
I need to know, remove all doubt.
I'd take a guess, remove the stress,
but can't take it if I'm wrong.
...

Hands can't quite cope.
Heart filled with hope.
Mind filled with regret.
Another day, another misstep.
...

Stones skippin' softly 'cross the waves of my heart.
Tongue-twisted mind, just don't know where to start.

Sitting still in the dark, sippin' liquid delight.
