oh heart
my heart
have we been
betrayed once more?
is it true what my eyes have seen?
to the sky we soared
only to come crashing down once more.

oh my heart
shall we fight?
this losing battle
and once again reach that everlasting light?

oh heart
she is fading.
as i make it to the top i grasp her hand.
asking please have more patients.
yet she replied i don't know if i can.
baby is there another man?

have you left me?
are you condemned by what you see?
i can feel you fading away.
