Dainty Betty

From her beauty,
She awakes the green-eyed monster,
Not one, not two but abundance.
Its' envious eyes no longer in vain.
Fore its' looks its' glamor
nothing close or similar to hers.

Within her heart,
She revives the luscious garden,
the evergreen meadow,
a shattered life.
A broken boy with no hope,
no faith, and no luck,
Now believes.

Beside her soul,
She ignites a fire,
a breath of sunlight.
Her gentle lips;
The taste of spring
in frosty January.
A blossom of flowers
in winter snow.

Her glistening eyes,
She surpasses the looks,
Digs deeper within,
Ignores what outsiders see.
She makes her own interpretation of me.

Her patient ears,
She listens quietly,
No words no sound.
The chirping of birds,
The buzzing of bees,
The singing of crickets
All could be heard from far or near.

Her creativity,
She fantasizes the future,
One bright and oh so rare.
A Prince Charming,
A mansion with a yard;
Large enough to cultivate
Her blessed heart.

Her profound knowledge,
She understands the truth.
A tree cannot grow tall and strong,
With no water, no soil, no roots.

Ole Dainty Betty,
Let us venture the land,
The Mystical Land of Love.
Fore, I will plow your winter snow.
And thy sunlight could warm me so.

Ole Dainty Betty,
Let us venture the land,
The Mystical Land of Love.
I will risk it all
For thy beauty, thy heart,
thy soul, thy love.
