When I remember you
I learn how to love my life
Even more than what I thought I would,
When I remember you
...
There is no snowfall this winter
Still I could see a lovely feather drifted by,
Slowly from the heaven
Silent as your pain
...
She had two toy horses in her room,
A turquoise one named 'The Dream'
Other in olive green named 'The Warrior',
'The Dream' was her dad's gift
...
She has a torn mind, shattered by those weapons,
She has abandoned homes and women without desires,
Her children are without childhood and old men without a smile,
Young men with hatred guns pointing at her heart,
...
Life, we say,
Is a dream,
A mystical dream
Enticed by our greed.
...
She's desolated,
Torn and thrown
In the streets
As a naked truth of savage
...
A candle was not lit for you, my little girl,
A flower was not left beside you in remembrance,
No tears, no prayers,
It's now a graveyard, your nation!
...
When I was born
They gave me a number,
When I started to cry
They gave me a name,
...
Shadows From The Past
When I remember you
I learn how to love my life
Even more than what I thought I would,
When I remember you
You fill my heart with passion
Even more than what I need to survive,
When I remember you
You create a vacuum of absence
Even more than what I felt before.
The seasons have changed
Those forest fires have vanished
From our hearts without a trace,
Still I search in the mirror of my soul
To reflect a piece of me in it
But have failed to see it again forever-
Now I feel it all around me as shadows,
Past is a tunnel of no return
When the life runs in one direction.
