The Bee And The Rose

The bee and the rose

I always lean out at dawn
to admire the shining sun
and to receive the beneficial rays
that brightens on my face.

I always follow the butterflies,
and I wait for one of them
to give me the right way.

Now I wish to run
through the meadows,
smell the flowers,
whose nectar inebriates the bees.

I wish to gather one of them,
and give it to you,
so you can inebriate
from its sweet fragrance.

But the human being is so blind
that he doesn't see this flower
offering itself in front of him.

I would catch you
laying in a lawn
and savour your sweet perfume,
and slowly pluck the petals off
one by one.

Let you gather like a rose
just blossomed.
