It Was Too Good

The shiny gem
I saw in my dark days
spread light in my life
without letting me know
that was too good not to notice.

I was in cloud nine
I kept flying with that
I saw the most beautiful things
in the place i thought the worst
I was too busy to think about
the consequences.

It was not my fault
it was too simple to think about
the complexities
Everybody forget that
gem can not always be good
if they eat it
it'll kill them
and everybody forget that
the higher they fly
the lower they fall
