My birth was golden
My life is golden
My future is golden

As the sun falls out of the sky leaving it filled with darkness, not a twinkle in sight to be spotted
Falling into a deep sleep in the darkness, tossing and turning
...

My mama um so proud you
Giving me life to breathe, feel, and see
Taking care of me when um in need
...

When you mean it i'll believe it
if you say it i'll repeat it
but when you mean it ill believe it
...

I know you want me
I know you don't want to be with her
In my mind it's just not right to leave you with her
I don't care what nobody else say
