Farther into darkness
as sorrow is your prose.

I am in awe,
seeing what you always knew.

On this autumn harvest night
wherein a moon burns orangey bright,
While embers light the darkened skies
and falling leaves wave last goodbyes,

A fire now burns
but not for you,
