Do you realize the danger you'll miss?

Others say that life is great.
I say that my life is ultra.
I call you the same!

We pay for our crimes—in time!
We sacrifice love.
We sacrifice sleep.
We sacrifice time—defeat!

Everyone's hungry but you.
You're like a diamond that hides behind rocks.
You're like a dream that could never be bought.
You're like a ship that stays tied to the docks.

My bones break but not my spirit!
My heart aches but still beats strong!
I can hear the distant drum beats,
Drowning out the wrong!

Lack of imagination is the same…
As a poet without spoken words.
