We wandered through a wooded glade

Past the walls that I built
You painted me pictures of times that did'nt last
Trying to revive my memorys of our past

Your promises fall to the ground like autumn leaves.
They are like the drops in an ocean, Or the stars in the sky.
The crust on a pie so easily broken.
Your lips may move but the truth stays hidden away.

You need to fit the normal, You need to look the same.

Don't dare be yourself or forget to comb your hair
...

Is it the whiteness of your smile or the twinkle in your eye
The sound of your voice or the cut of your jib
the cloths you wear, or the things you share
that makes you so a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e
...

Im an old fashioned man, that says live and let live.
Im sure when I die the pearly gates will allow me to fit in.
I just hope god checks his records and says You lived and let live.
You did good deeds, spoke well, and helped people in need
...

Sailing Away

My tears created a stream of sorrow all the way to my heart.
It was a wild ride on rapids, fraught with pain.

In January England is a barren canvas cold to the touch
Febuary brings blankets of snow and ice and skeleton trees on the horizons
March begins the race to paint this fertile land of fable, green
April brings nature's palette alight with daffodils and bluebells

Im a wage slave, oh yes I am
I work from 8 till 5 until I drop
I pay my rent and feed a car
Fill my freezer and pay my way
