Stoney Shade Poems

It’s too late, we’ve overthrown. Are you preparing to take me on? I took everything and now you’re all alone. Lets see what evil you can spawn.

I guess I’m the heart so cold. You seem to be brave. You seem to be bold.

Asylum

It’s too late, we’ve overthrown. Are you preparing to take me on? I took everything and now you’re all alone. Lets see what evil you can spawn.

I guess I’m the heart so cold. You seem to be brave. You seem to be bold.

But look at you now. Sitting there inside the horrors of the asylum. Starving and kneeling, the sweat on your brow. Now do I look so dumb?

I don’t know where I belong, but we won’t be born again. So now I have these memories, haunting me within. Look at this smile now; it’s no longer a grin.

Tell me I’m sane. That these scars are gone from the membrane. Alone and lost. You’ve turned and tossed. Where will you break from insanity? I feel so vanity!

I can’t remember if there was a someone else, nothing to do but torture the past. The question still sits, how long will you last?
