Asking For Roses

A house that lacks, seemingly, mistress and master,
With doors that none but the wind ever closes,
Its floor all littered with glass and with plaster;
It stands in a garden of old-fashioned roses.

I pass by that way in the gloaming with Mary;
'I wonder,' I say, 'who the owner of those is.'
'Oh, no one you know,' she answers me airy,
'But one we must ask if we want any roses.'

Life Is A Tall, Tender Tree

For if life is a tall tender tree,
For then, life is joy, life is free.
The tree is dancing in the air, sunny or showers,
With his joy, with his love, with his flowers.

For if life is a tall tender tree,
There is no pain or gain, she or he.
No complaining, only serving and caring.
Creating life for joy of sharing.

My Son

My son, I can see so many good things in you
And here I am really honest and true.
My son, I love it when your caring heart opens wide
When I had a headache you came and sat by my side

My son, some of your talents for drawing, I have seen
You are really good at it, believe me, fantastic, I mean
My son, there are really so many good things in you.
Even so far, I have mentioned just two

God Knows.... A Simple Prayer

God knew that I need someone
To keep as a treasure in my heart.
Someone who is so true
Fine and caring.

God knew that I need smiles
To go on my hard way
And dress my wounds
With love.

Wind Song

The wind whistles eerily, as the storm approaches,
it gradually encroaches, taking over
like some unscrupulous military machine,
giving way to no one,
just charging along at a fierce pace,
buffeting anything that gets in the way.

It cannot turn back, not once it's committed.
The oncoming storm whips it into swirls of forceful energy,
it is uncontrollable.

Comes The Day

After years of caring;

Comes the day, when the children depart,
for pastures new, for them a new start,
leaving you with a emptiness in your heart.

Comes the day, when things you have wanted to do,
cannot now, for you, ever come true,
they just become dreams you can no longer pursue.

My Imagination

Imagine that there is no heaven
Above us only a sky
Imagine that there is no religion
To create controversy and lies.

Imagine that there are no countries
One sea and only one land
Imagine that there is no war
So everyone stood hand in hand.

Atish Dipankar Srigyan

Atish Dipankar Srigya

Attained in Himalayas,
And out of deep concern,
Like a floating cloud He moved,
To pour His heart; compassion,
Reached Tibet to flood people,
Waiting with deep overflowing,
Magnetic resonance of Being.

The Conversation Of Prayer

The conversation of prayers about to be said
By the child going to bed and the man on the stairs
Who climbs to his dying love in her high room,
The one not caring to whom in his sleep he will move
And the other full of tears that she will be dead,

Turns in the dark on the sound they know will arise
Into the answering skies from the green ground,
From the man on the stairs and the child by his bed.
The sound about to be said in the two prayers

What Is Love?

Love is love as we all understand
as far as our mind and heart can comprehend
it is the most caring heart at hand
and the sweetest mind to understand

Love is love as we all can understand
love is not that rude, harsh and brutal
love is that most tender, sweetest-touching total
it is not that competing factor personal

Love

Love is a Beautiful Sweet Feeling
Love is Caring and Sharing
Love is Forever, True Happiness
Love is Sunshine, Rain; Rainbow

Love is Affection, Admiration, Adoration
Love is Bonding and Binding
Love is the Strongest Emotion
Love is Devotion and Dedication

Love Love - Life Life

When love resides in heart
The head makes body to dance
Life enjoys moments
Tic tac tic toe tic tac

Sharing and caring reaches at peak
Flower bloom, bird sings,
Music notes flows everywhere
Tic tac tic toe tic tac

Expel All Hatred

Expel all hatred from thy heart
Revenge, fire, will tear thee apart.
Expel all anger from thy mind
No thoughts like these of any kind.

Thou must find loving words to say
Despite deep hurt haunting thy ways.
Thou must expel all hurt and hatred
Find forgiveness, a gift so sacred.

A Boy In Church

“Gabble-gabble,… brethren,… gabble-gabble!”
My window frames forest and heather.
I hardly hear the tuneful babble,
Not knowing nor much caring whether
The text is praise or exhortation,
Prayer or thanksgiving, or damnation.

Outside it blows wetter and wetter,
The tossing trees never stay still.
I shift my elbows to catch better

About You.

Though the globe appears huge, Yet often I doubt,
A step-up, a step-out, and that’s what is all about.
Few set of ticks to carry, number of miles to chase,
Despite fixed quota, our mammoth desires to raise.

Whilst the tiresome journey, it’s my quest for pause,
An attempt to befriend one with no ifs and clause.
So who, the distinct soul among deep-dense crowd,
Oh, that’s you the melodious, when the rest is loud.

Y..... Happiness

I guess it was my aunty's fault
That before I was six years old
It were my looks that made me happy
She just never stopped praising me

Later when I went to school
I realised I was a bit of a fool
To be so proud about my looks
My happiness shifted towards my books

A Woman

Woman… Woman… o' my loving woman
A woman is by far an Excellency
A woman is like a Baobab tree
A woman can grow to any length
A woman can sustain any pain
A woman is a unique creator as a whole
A woman is the core of life, encore, encore.

A woman only can contain within
A woman can give birth to greatest human being

Harlem Wine

This is not water running here,
These thick rebellious streams
That hurtle flesh and bone past fear
Down alleyways of dreams

This is a wine that must flow on
Not caring how or where
So it has ways to flow upon
Where song is in the air.

When You Walked In My Life...

When you walked in my life
You wiped my tears
When you walked in my life
You built my heart strong
When you walked in my life
You made my life precious
When you walked in my life
You taught me meaning of love
When you walked in my life
You showed me many things

... Making Love **

Like roses on a bed
Two come together as one
Dancing to a beat
Circulating with
Lust or affection
Exciting, thrilling
Caring and warming
Romantically

Like sugar on a tongue
