God Knows.... A Simple Prayer
God knew that I need someone
To keep as a treasure in my heart.
Someone who is so true
Fine and caring.
God knew that I need smiles
To go on my hard way
And dress my wounds
With love.
God knew that I need the consciousness
Of someone who thinks of me
In the night when the moon shines
And water sleeps in comfort.
God knew that I need to share
My joys and sorrows
With someone who wiped my tears
And caressed my hair so lovingly.
God knew that I need a lap
Where I can sleep like a sweet cat
And get up to see the first rays of the sun
Which loves to shine in my eyes.
God knew and he gave ………..

Doctor of..........? poetry? mixing up of the tenses in this poem is intentional) .............. i was getting ready to point out the mixing to you, but you anticipated my comment. does this signify that the someone was sent but is no longer around: ? ? a fine poem for romantics and lovers of love poems and perhaps religious poems. i am neither of those type of readers, BUT i enjoyed the poem nonetheless (well maybe a little less!) . Nature Knew Nature has a lot of power, so i asked.......... for a woman, .............knock on wood. I think Nature answered my call............ just as fast as she could. Now i've got a woman to cook, to clean, and keep me warm. I've settled for one at a time; after all, who needs a swarm? thanks for sharing and inspiring me to share with you! bri :)
God knew and he gave.........I like this stanza it let's the reader find out who this person is.You reminded me of the people that matter in my life.Today being a Sunday I thank God for them.
Yes, Almighty One God (I believe in Oneness that is God is One, He neither was / is / will be born by anyone nor He begot / begets / will beget anyone) knows everything and being about because He creates everything and being & manages and feeds all, So we all should pray to him for ourselves, Well penned poem, I will vote for it,10, thanks
