Dark To Light

Darkness is something I no longer fear for I am familiar with it, I am but a shadow in the darkness with my eyes closed as having them open would be all the same to me.
Alive or dead I do not know for the back of my hand I cannot see. I see no God I see no man, there is no hell beneath the sand.
From where I lay I hear the wind but feel no coldness on my skin.
I have no faults I have no crimes I stand so still and cannot sin. I see no light there is no hope, I have no sight my eyes are closed.
