Painting a Neon Desert Sight

Pre-heated before due time-
Pre-cooked for convenience sake-
Pre-mixed with Spices of Spring-
Pre-seasoned before the bake-

The wind blows pure- unpolluted...

My blinking eyes see signs of Grace...

You have humbled me-
Groveling for any stone
To throw;
Pebbles of yesteredays-

I am like the left over stew
You know-from the day before?
My flavor has become deeper
But who really wants more?

Tangerine coloured lights shine only
As they entertain cameras to a visual scene...
Gone are the skyscraper trees and their nimble branches
Of a most free flowing evergreen...

Your warm smile and baby blue eyes
I remember the touch of your hand
And how when you left me, i cried;
