Therese Anne Schmidt Poems

I know you are,
and I saw what you did.

Little sunflowers
...

Around, all around, the dark memories gather.
My dread grows as the headsman's axe
falls against my neck.
It severs me, and darkly my blood drips

I Know Who You Are And I Saw What You Did

I know you are,
and I saw what you did.

Little sunflowers
pulled up by the root.
Just thrown aside.
As you did it, you just sighed.
It's now uproot.

I saw what you did,
And I know who you are.

On a wall, by her room,
You wrote the word, 'b*tch.'
Are you now filled with gloom?
It must her curly hair that
sends your mood into the ditch.
Does she get your face all a red bloom?

I know who you are,
And I saw what did.

Doesn't your greasy,
ugly girlfriend feel any jealousy?
The curly haired girl only sees you as a bully.
To her, you are cowardly.
You beat your girlfriend brashly?
You don't do anything bravely.

I know who you are,
And, yes, Roy,
I saw what you did.
