Thomas Dominguez Biography

My name is Thomas. I am a pizza connoisseur who is currently attending college to become a Math Professor. (2nd year of college,1st year at this career) I was born and raised in San Jose. Even though I have moved around a bit all my life, I never left San Jose and have grown to love it here. When writing my poems, my inspiration comes mainly from my heart. They come from past experiences, and my observance of others. Writing poems has been a great emotional outlet for me. It has given me a voice in which I can let others hear, see, and feel with. It is that connection that I get with them, the feeling of true emotion, and the comfort that I get to give them simply through my words.)

Losing A Friend

When you left me, it broke apart,
How I long to feel you, see you, hear you.
Now I must take this broken, bloody heart,
and fix the damage, just to feel you.

You would cheer me up, and comforted me,
We never had a dull moment, always fun.
Now I can stop the crying, and finally see,
I can stay here, sharing the same sun.

Now you must haunt me, make me see you,
Stop this madness, I don't want to live in fear!
Then there's silence, and I can't see you,
When I turn away, I can't believe what I hear.

Is this me, how can this be?
Why me, I don't deserve this.
We loved each other, just like honey and bee's,
This is one heart, I truly will miss.
