Gods Love

Often when I am all alone
and can daydream for awhile,
I think of the love that god gave me
I remember... and I smile

I think of the day I met you
how I liked you from the start
How your smiling eyes and easy laugh
reached out and touched my heart.

I remember all the times we laughed
And also all the times we cried.
But happy or sad... good or bad
We faced them - side by side.

That's what its all about, you know
the loving... the touching...
the caring... the joy and the sadness...
the laughter and tears...

The winning and losing... the sharing.
I don’t know what tomorrow may bring
Were not allowed to see.
I know I can face it unafraid
because you will be there with me
