Broken Comfort

behind closed eyes i see you
i see your sweet and pretty
smilling face.
my mind crame back and
recaptured those golden moments,
that we spent together,
they were indeed memorable.
i wanted you so much,
i wanted you forever because
i thought you were God-sent
but you put a crack and
broke the dream.
but it is now past, a part of
my past that i must let go to
move onto a brighter future
that awaits me.
and so i look forward, ahead of me
cos the comfort is broken.
and i have my way to mend it.
